Join me at the Minnesota Nonprofit Leadership Conference for an informative session on building better staff/volunteer relationships.

Are you frustrated with your board leadership? Are your volunteers focused on all the wrong things, and undermining your fundraising success? In this fun and engaging session Courtney and Juliana will draw on their own experience working as board members and staff members to help you review the fundamentals of healthy board/staff relationships, avoid some common pitfalls, and come away with new skills for building positive and effective relationships with volunteers. You will learn how to identify problems early on, and techniques for addressing them. You’ll learn the basics of delineating staff/volunteer roles, setting expectations, and navigating conflict. We’ll also touch on why these volunteer relationships are so important.  You will leave this session with a better understanding of both side’s perspectives and challenges, and increased confidence in your ability to engage volunteers in achieving your fundraising goals.
